Hi

Icarus is a very good free verilog simulator available on both 
unix/linux/windows. But unfotuantely the test bench has a few things 
that are not supported by Icarus. I am recently looking into this matter.

Among the unsupported issues are:
1. reals - this is used for setting up the clock time. An easy work around 
for non-timing simualtion is to use the approximation of the time 
intervals. I have already a version where I ifdefed those defines.
2. ranges in parameters - I have not found a  good work around for this.
