We would not contribute to anything, unless it's strict GNU GPL. Reasons
are simple - IP is a valuable stuff, nobody wants to give it away, unless
there is a reason. Reason is simple - better cores available for everybody
is better then struggling with propriatory binary stuff. But not for some
'smart' guy to close the source and start the propriatoy game. Splitting
the development tree is a bad thing also. So, GPL, from the buisness
prospective is the only viable alternative to closed approach.
Enforcing GNU GPL is FUN and would be done if needed.
