Prerequisites

Aside from GTK+ you will need GtkSourceView to compile versions >= 0.3.1, which can be downloaded here.

Which branch should I download?

We suggest you download the 0.3 branch, as it offers a much better syntax highlighting engine and editing widget. If you cannot trade in features for stability by all means, choose the 0.2 branch.
