And even if commercial distribs don't make the necessary effort to port
their system to a new platform, I remember you that Linux is in its most
general aspect free and opensource, which allows any experienced enough
developer to play around with some code lines to port Linux on a new board.

The only requirements are a good knowledge of how Linux works in the inside
and some documentation about the hardware part.
