[ethmac] Numbers about Ethmac

Hello Mr. Mohor!

I am following the progression of the free Ethernet MAC core since a long time. At the moment I am working on a paper on open source IP cores for a national conference in Austria (http://www.ife.tugraz.at/events/austrochip2002/). It will present (besides our experiences with the free PCI core and the free Ethernet MAC core, currently under evaluation/development by two of my students at university) the mc8051 IP core that we published in January this year (http://oregano.at/services/8051.htm). I also want to highlight some pros and cons, personal experiences with the idea of open source hardware IP.

I wondered whether you would be so kind and provide me with some numbers about the Ethernet MAC core to mention them in my paper? I am thinking about:
- number of downloads
- number of real ASICs, which used the core
- number of companies, who evaluated the core
- other things like these ...
