[bluetooth] Live Web Chat on JavaTM APIs for BluetoothTM Technology

Sorry for the duplication. It looked like lots of people on these lists
might be interested.

This looks like it could be an interesting event for Java and J2ME
developers and Bluetooth and other wireless developers.

Live Web Chat With WSAS Java Experts on JavaTM APIs for Bluetooth Technology

Sun Microsystems has invited three of Motorola's Java experts to share their
knowledge and perspectives on the latest Java technology, Java APIs for
Bluetooth technology, through a live Java Developer ConnectionSM (JDC) Web
Chat.

C. Bala Kumar, Paul Kline and Tim Thompson from Motorola's Wireless Software
Applications and Services (WSAS) are developing Java APIs that will run on
Bluetooth devices. They will be guests in the live chat session scheduled
for September 4, 2001 at 11:00am PDT (California time).

Login instructions can be found on the chat web page. Go to:
http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/community/chat/ and select the Java
APIs for Bluetooth technology session.

Motorola is leading the industry group responsible for setting the standard
for Java APIs for Bluetooth technology through the Java Community ProcessSM
(JCP). C. Bala Kumar chairs the group for Motorola. Many leading
technology companies are participating on this standard with Motorola,
including Classwave, Ericsson, Extended Systems, IBM, Mitsubushi, Nokia,
Parthus, Research in Motion, Rococo Software, Sun, Symbian, Vaultus and
Zucotto.

Bluetooth technology allows wireless connections between computers, mobile
phones, printers, mobile computers and hand held devices. This technology
makes connections instantly, without any cables, and facilitates data and
voice transmission even when devices aren't within line of sight.
