The S4 methods for x of type matrix,
array, or numeric call
matrixStats::rowMedians
/ matrixStats::colMedians.
Returns a numeric vector of
length N (K).
matrixStats::rowMedians() and
matrixStats::colMedians() which are used when
the input is a matrix or numeric vector.
