Hello Michele,
under Windows you can use IrfanView (http://www.irfanview.com). Runs
under Win9x/NT. There is a Video Plugin capable to play MPEG videos (not
tried by myself). I like IrfanView very much, a nice, fast picture
viewer. And also Freeware!
