[mu SETUP] get LILO to boot my harddisk

After cloning to an linux native partition ( /dev/hda1) I get a
notification that the LILO configuration file is in /tmp
And it really is !
I did copy this file to a mounted partiton /dev/hda1, but somehow
LILO was not installed at the boot sector.
Re-cloning it twice, same error occurs.
So how can I manually get LILO to the harddisk?
