brauchbare Alternative zu dyndns

dyndns ist ja mittlerweile so "unfreundlich" geworden,
welche unkomplezierten und kostenfreien Alternativen gibt es?

was ist denn mit denen? Ich nutze es seit mehreren Jahren, aber habe noch nichts bemerkt. Was haben die verändert?

also mir sind die auch auf den Wecker gegangen da ständig einer meiner 2 Accounts abgelaufen war und verlängert werden musste.
Ich habe jetzt einfach auf MyFritz gewechselt, blöder Domainname zwar aber der VPN ist das egal.

My free dyndns subdomain was suddenly a paid subdomain extention and I had to pay to keep it so I switched. I'm using no-ip for about 2 years now and it works fine.

hab im Mai auch gewechselt -> spdns.de, klappt 1a!

..da ich mein dyndns behalten will, läüft dieses Script als cronjob.

abzulegen unter /opt/dynlogin oder wie auch immer?
jetzt noch nen kurz abstecher was bei crontab zu beachten ist und ich wär happy - ist es nur

..ja bei "Username & Passwort" Deine Daten.
Hab meine Scripte in "/opt" ..normal sollten eigene Scripte in /"usr/local/bin" liegen
"chmod a+x  /pfad/zum/script" nicht vergessen.

jetzt noch nen kurz abstecher was bei crontab zu beachten ist und ich wär happy - ist es nur

ja, nur diese Zeile eintragen.

If there is no updated package, download source and compile. It doesn't have to be the newest, which might not compile, but can be an older version. You just have to know the lowest versions what is needed.

Problem is mktemp, this version don't understand --tmp, I removed it so it gives no error anymore.

Haven't tested it on my 0.806 because I don't have a login for dyndns.
