[pci] 32 Channel Audio In/Out PCI board (16bit/8kHz x32 x2)

Hi PCI-Gurus,

I will try to develop a 32 Channel PCI Audio Card.

The AD/DA converters have one serial in/out per 2 channels.
That means I will need 16 serial ports(Sin/Sout) to send/receive audio samples.
And addtional 16 serial ports to control the input/output gain(not shown in 
diagramm).

Could you please give me a hint which device I should use, and which would be 
the best development board for this project. Can the opencores PCI-core used for 
that or would it be better to get a MegaCore like Altera's pci_mt32.

How many man-hours would you guess for such a project.
