There are several tools for coverage analysis of RTL available, both
stand-alone and integrated into simulators. AFAIK all of the three Stooges
(SynopsysAvant!, Cadence, Mentor) as well as many of the up and coming have
coverage tools.

A good starting point is to check John Cooleys ESNUG posts and trip reports,
there you'll get not only info of available tools but more importantly what
your peers think of the tools.

Check out John Cooleys DeepChip page at:
http://www.deepchip.com/

Running a search on the ESNUG archives there gives several results - among
other things questions and responses concerning evaluation of coverage tools:

Short side note: My personal view is that a goof coverage tool should not only
check how big percentage of your RTL that has been coveraged (and not
coveraged), but more importantly _which_ part of the code. There are tools
that does this too.

Good luck!
