RE: [oc] SDRAM Controller Core

Hello,

I believe Xilinx has a free SDRAM controller core on their website. You can
probably use this for reference.

Manoj

Hi,

try downloading the datasheets for a few sdram chips, from e.g. Micron.
Using the information and timing diagrams in such a datasheet, I was able
to design a basic but fully functioning controller in a few afternoons,
with no prior knowledge of (s)dram at all. I was using the Micron
Technology's MT48LC8M16A2 part, (2Mb x 16 x 4 Banks), with it's
corresponding datasheet, and they supply a HDL simulation model of the part
as well.

regards,
Mathias
