%description
Fetchmail is a full-featured, robust, well-documented remote-mail
retrieval and forwarding utility intended to be used over on-demand
TCP/IP links (such as SLIP or PPP connections). It supports every
remote-mail protocol now in use on the Internet: POP2, POP3, RPOP,
APOP, KPOP, all flavors of IMAP, and ESMTP ETRN. It can even support
IPv6 and IPSEC.

@My today's "either break everything or make it even better" commit:
- globally cleanup styles of configuration files and scripts
- make the fetchmailrc generation process more robust, concise and portable
- remove %reload as just running fetchmail without anything
else doesn't seem to be a real "reload" operation to me
- add a bunch of additional comments
- move most variables from %config to %common as they are
not really intended to be changed by the user

@BugFix: we have to tell it where to put the PID file; --quit just starts a new daemon which first kills the old one, which is not the desired behavior, so use kill instead. Please port to stable.

@Mass Commit:
reduce redundancy within .spec files by referencing
macros defining vendor source versions whenever possible.
This was half-way automated and half-way manually edited.
As a result the PMOD activity in 95% of all cases
just means editing the version in one single place, only.

log
@Mass-Commit:
- split "Distribution" header into "Distribution" (old) and "Class"
(new) headers by moving the attached class information.
- embed the vendor version tracking configuration through the
new "%track" section.
- bump up the OpenPKG bootstrap dependency, because the "Class" header
and "%track" section are only supported by our latest bootstrap version.
