Custom Input
Custom Input allows you to quickly
access your most frequently used special characters (including
Unicode) with a single tap.
You can also create shortcuts
that when typed onto the physical keyboard are expanded into their
full-text equivalents. For example, brb could be programmed to
expand into Be Right Back!
Virtual Keyboard
Simply
use any available input method to add characters (even Unicode) to
the virtual keyboard line. You can also specify the font size. These
characters are now only a tap away.
Physical Keyboard
Tap
"Add Key Combination" to begin. Then tap "Select Key"
to add the first of one or more keys (including function- or
shift-modified keys) that when pressed in close sequence are
translated into a replacement value. Tap ">>" to add
another key to the sequence. Enter your replacement text into the box
provided.
Close the program to activate your new changes.
You can specify the maximum delay between keypresses in the General
tab of the program.
Some examples:
Fn+Shift+b to
insert ß
a then e to insert
æ
c then Shift+r to insert
©
l8r becomes See you
later!
