Purpose

The aim of the RASCAL project is to produce a comprehensive and thick Ada binding to the ARM/RISC OS platform.

Current Status

There are still a lot of things that need to be done but RASCAL is already perfectly useable for most purposes and has already been used to write applications. Look (here) for a list of what needs to bedone.

Help needed

If you have any spare time please consider contributing to this project in any of the following ways:

• Graphics

  This project needs a logo, preferably something somehow connected to the name, RISC OS or Ada.

• Documentation

  There is very little documentation available, no introduction, no examples and no "learn RASCAL in 24 hours" etc.

• Translation

  The documentation is currently only available in english - please change that! Before you start translating anything please email the maintainer to prevent any duplication of effort.

• Coding

  If you are a programmer feel free to improve on the code. There is anonymous read only access to the sourcecode. If you have made changes or additions and want to commit them to the project email the maintainer to get write access. If you plan to make major changes then please email the maintainer before you do anything.
