Concept

The network will probably identify individuals by their GnuPG keys. Standard areas will be neighborhoods, parishes, quarters, city districts, cities and states.

Network nodes will be peers or super peers. A super peer will be expected to be available in the network during published hours or to have a generally high availability. Super peers will, depending on their relationship to an area, demand and available memory, hold references to other super peers, indices of documents or a subset of the published documents of an area. Peers will be able to redistribute currently cashed documents.

The network will allow to request or to offer services from or to neighbors that may otherwise never learn about each other's need of a service or willingness to provide a service.

The system will serve as a bulletin board for the neighborhood. All requests, messages and documents in the system will be categorized to allow convenient search in the available data.

This program will share the web of trust with the esp/peer software.
